Mixed media. This project is a conceptual project I worked on in November 2010. The assignment had to do with a man called Henry Molaison who lost his short term memory after some experiments were done on his brain where they removed parts of it because they thought it would make him healthy. He was in his twenties when he had the surgery, and for the rest of his life he lived without being able to store new memory. They continued to do research and do experiments on Henry's brain until he died in 2008 (I think) around 80 years old. As of today they are still researching his brain which was frozen down after his death. A sad yet inspiring story I thought.

The revolution in Cuba
These are a from a longer project I did where the task was to pick a revolution (I picked Cuba's revolution in 1959) and convey change through time or the impact of the revolution. These are a bit more of conceptual images than what might come through at first glance. As you can see, they're all the same image with some variations in them. Which one do you like best?

This is a stop motion I made last semester as I started with animation class.
This animation is a short self portrait in symbolism, it's from an assignment I did in October 2010. It doesn't have any sound. I also just want to point out that within every second of an animation there are 30 composed images.
