Homeless youth in Portland posters
This is the first phase of a school project we are doing in my illustration class where the theme of the project is homeless youth in Portland, OR. I have to say I was shocked at how high the numbers of homeless youth are. Can you believe that in Portland, Oregon alone we have 24000 homeless between the age of 12 and 21 years old! That's insane, and not acceptable! I am currently looking for organizations to volunteer with and ways I can help create a positive impact in young peoples life. No one can help everyone, but EVERYONE can help SOMEONE.

Animation collaboration
This is a collaboration between Matthew Seely and myself for our animation class. This is the first time I've used a green screen. Matthew painted the background and I made the owl puppet, other than that everything else was complete teamwork. This was finished on the 2. of March 2011.

Bologna, Italy
These two piece are from an assignment I had in my illustration class where we were supposed to capture the essence of one city and reference both history and geography. I chose Bologna, Italy and wanted to focus more on the feeling you get and the experience of being there rather then what the city looks like on the surface. The upper one is more history based and the lower one more geography based, all though they both have several elements involving both themes. The material is oil pastel pitt, watercolor, yarn, handmade and digital collage. I finished them both on 1. of March, 2011.
